In celebration of #Juneteenth, and in conjunction with law firms across the country, Emerald Law is participating in #juneteenthwills, an #estateplan giveaway. I am thrilled to be invited to participate by Iffy Ibewke of Ibekwe Law, PLLC.
First off, why are we doing this? According to Black Enterprise, nearly 70% of African Americans have no will or estate plan, and consequently Black people lose out on transferring generational wealth and preserving their voice when making health and financial-related decisions.
At Emerald Law, we focus on educating and empowering women to take control of their futures through intentional planning, which is why this cause is so important to us.
To celebrate and honor Juneteenth, Emerald Law will give away a free estate plan to encourage more couples and single Black people to establish plans in Missouri.
