Juneteenth Giveaway: Year 2!

Updated: Dec 9, 2022

It’s that time of the year again!

Last year, I did an Estate Plan Giveaway in celebration of Juneteenth. (Thanks heaps to Iffy Ibewke for inviting me!) It was such a gratifying experience (It was so much fun getting to know you through your comments and reposts, too!), so much so that we’re doing it again this year!

If you would recall our discussion on estate planning in the Black community, there is such a thing as “estate planning gap.” It is part of Black history and is, sadly, still very much present in Black communities of today.

At Emerald Law, one of the things we believe so strongly in is the power of estate planning–and yes, that definitely includes the power to bridge the gap and help promote Black financial empowerment!

That said, this year, let’s do round 2! To celebrate and honor Juneteenth 2022, Emerald Law will once again give away a free estate plan to encourage more people to establish their plans, particularly among women and members of the Black community here in Missouri.

Just like last time, it’s so easy to qualify!

  1. Like and follow Emerald Law on Facebook or follow us on Instagram.

  2. Share this blog post on your Facebook stories or page.

  3. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #juneteenthwills!

  4. Tag two friends or other family members who you think might also be interested in our little giveaway!

  5. Once you’ve done these steps, fill out this form.

The deadline for joining our Juneteenth 2022 giveaway is June 30, 2022, 11:59 pm CST.

The winner will, similarly, get the following:

  1. Initial consultation

  2. Last will and testament

  3. Trust

  4. Medical POA

  5. Financial POA

  6. Living will (advance healthcare directive)

  7. HIPAA authorization

  8. Guardianship nomination, if applicable

  9. Legal execution of documents

  10. and MORE!

If you're this year’s lucky winner, you will be contacted by the second week of July! Until then, wishing all participants the best of luck!
